The Rundown: The X-Men face their toughest battle in bringing down Nimrod and Orchis once and for all.

Across the world, Nimord is on the attack against the collected mutants fighting for the survival of both mutants and humans. Multiple strike teams find themselves facing off against Nimrod at the same time with Magento joining his daughter to bring the creature down.

As Nimrod continues to hold on and pound the mutants, it knows the biggest threat to it is Cyclops. As it prepares to end the threat of him once and for all, Scott gets a last minute save from Storm and the mutants use that distraction as a way of bringing the creature down. At the same time, Psylocke delivers a devastating blow to Omega Sentinel as the battle takes a decisive turn.

The Story: A thrilling and entertaining adventure that continues to be a great conclusion to the Krakoa era by bringing big action, explosions and surprises that make me remember what I love about the X-Men. There’s great action throughout the issue and a wonderful sense of suspense that drew me in. I like a lot of the themes in the issue and the story ends with a great cliffhanger that made me excited.

The Art: Werneck and Caselli deliver fantastic art throughout the issue. The visuals are thrilling and capture the dynamic action and suspense of the story.
